My Grandparents are coming up this summer and we plan on going to the Olympic national park (where we go every time they come up) I want to impress them with my photography skills. How can I take really good photos? I have a Kodak Easy Share C433. I have had it for a year and 4 months. I enjoy taking pictures where ever I go on trips. Its a great camera. Actually its the 1st digital camera I looked at when I went to Walmart. I got it on sale for 109.99 Its regually 150.00 dollar camera.

Take pictures of little, interesting things, and try to not cram too much stuff into a picture. I do lots of close-ups, those tend to look really good if they’re not fuzzy. Look up stuff about digital photography on Google, I’m sure there is lots more help there.

Any photography tips on developing confidence to take shots of public areas?

By nikky

Question by blackmisheru: Any photography tips on developing confidence to take shots of public areas?
I’ve recently taken up a photography course and I’ve found that taking action shots of public areas can be a real pain. I’m usually stopped by police saying professional photography is prohibited. I also find that approaching people and asking them if they’re willing to pose for a shot is equally as frustrating and can be embarrassing. Any tips on overcoming this?

Best answer:

Answer by Vincent N
If the police stop you and say no professional photography, tell him that your not a professional. Im just a student doing a class project. I think its kind a weird asking stranger to pose for you.. Why don’t you bring your friends along and ask them to pose for you.

wedding Photography?

Question by Meleah J: wedding Photography?
Wedding Photographers are soo pricey. Does anyone have any creative alternatives?
I am already planning on doing the disposable cameras. I am concerned with nice portrait type photos.

Best answer:

Answer by Acceptance
You can do the disposable cameras, but you can’t be sure that you will get great pictures. Some people do, some don’t. Ours were fine from the disposables, but then when I saw them compared to the photog’s pics, they were nothing.

I looked at it this way – there are few things that you will have from your wedding that you will be able to hold on to. Memories will fade – in order to keep them fresh, you want to have a good photographer. Those pictures will last you for the rest of your life and then be passed onto your children as well. Skimping on them may inhibit a lifetime of memories. You won’t remember if you got the more expensive linens. You won’t remember if you had 4 candles or 5 in your centerpieces. But you *will* always want to remember that first kiss, your Uncle Ted dancing the night away, the toast from your Best Man, what your dress looked like, what your wedding cake looked like, etc. And a professional photographer can best capture that for you.

Be creative, have fun, but don’t skimp on something that will be the most long lasting memory of your wedding.

They are huge ad orgies anymore.

Pop Photo is fine, I prefer Shutterbug. The articles tend to be a little more indepth. Though I do miss their large sized magazine!
